Week of 02/06/2012 DADA

How does one achieve eternal bliss? By saying dada. How does one become famous? By saying dada. With a noble gesture and delicate propriety. Till one goes crazy. Till one loses consciousness. How can one get rid of everything that smacks of journalism, worms, everything nice and right, blinkered, moralistic, europeanised, enervated? By saying dada. Dada is the world soul, dada is the pawnshop. Dada is the world's best lily-milk soap. Dada Mr Rubiner, dada Mr Korrodi. Dada Mr Anastasius Lilienstein. In plain language: the hospitality of the Swiss is something to be profoundly appreciated. And in questions of aesthetics the key is quality.

This quote uses to word dada as an term of freedom , I think that the quote is saying that if you want to be happy or reach inner satisfaction one must do thing their own way. Hugo Ball encourages its reader to be innovative. Reject the norm as you build your path to success. The effort and quality that one commits is what is important. In a nutshell what is good for me may not necessarily be good for you, as long you are dedicated and provide quality you will be successful and most importantly happy with your inner self. I agree with what Hugo Ball states. We are all different and there more than one way to the right thing. The important aspect is to be happy and content with all do you.
