Article 69Law drafts proposed by the Reich government require the approval of Reichsrat. If Reich government and Reichsrat cannot agree, Reich government may still propose the law, but has to present the divergent Reichsrat opinion as well. If Reichsrat passes a law draft which is not approved by the Reich government, the latter has to present the draft, with its divergent comment, to Reichstag.

 

The Laws  are presented toes by the Reich government and the require the approval of the the the representative of Germany, if the Reich governments and the reichasrat cannot agree the government and still enact the law but must include the opinions of the reichasrat along with it. However if the the Reichstag present a law to the Reich goverment and must received feed back from the government. I chose this Article because it was interesting to see  that overall the government has the last say in law making decision and placement.

 

 

 

Article 145Schooling is obligatory. This obligation is served by the Volksschule (20) with at least 8 school years and the school for further instruction, following on the former, until the completed 18th year. Instruction and learning aids are, at Volksschule and at schools for further instruction, free of charge.

 

 Is Mandatory for all children and free of charge schooling must be provided until the person is 18 years old.

I chose this article be I like the fact that school is free and is available to anyone 18 and under, I also noted other article that showed emphasize and art and music free of charge.

 

1) What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of proportional representation?

 

The seats are distributed based on the total percentage of  votes won by a particular party. this makes the representative as the lecture state this makes the representative less responsive and less dependent on local voters. However Proportional voting has more than two political parties competing which allows minority group to have a greater voice . This can also allow group such as the Nazi to come to power while having a low percentage of votes.

 

2) What were the leading causes of the decline of the Wiemar Republic?

Some of the leading cause of other decline of the Wiemar republic was hyperinflation, Great depression and the rise of the Nazi.

3) What is hyperinflation?

 a rapid increase in inflation where prices increase because the  money value decline.

 

4) How would you judge the Wiemar Constitution as compared to the American Constitution?
I consider both constitution very similar the only difference I see is that the final decision making come for the government itself despite it all . People have right but I don't think they have much say.
